Mohammed El Amraoui was born in Fes, Morocco, and currently lives in Lyon, France. He writes in French and Arabic. His books include The Moon, The Divisions (Poésie-Rencontres, 1997), On This Side and Around It (L’Idée bleue, 2006), and The Birth of Things (Dumerchez Naoum, 2008).
